AFTER THEY GOT THEIR RECORD DEAL,
One Direction worked very hard on their first album. If they had won 'X-Factor UK', their first single would have been 'Forever Young'. But, instead, their fandom grew in the world. The once, 5 normal teenage guys, were now international sensation Irish-British boy band, One Direction. It was almost impossible to get in your car and not hear the familiar cowbells of 'What Makes You Beautiful'. They all sent out their first tweets as verified Twitter applicants, and the fans went even more crazy. Tumblr, Twitter, and even Facebook pages started to arise for the fandom.
They started their first tour, 'Up All Night', and it sold out worldwide in a total of two hours! {for the songs on 'up all night' and more of one direction's albums, go here ---> http://5guys1direction.weebly.com/music-maniacs.html} That's 4,167 tickets per minute, and 69 per second! They all had their signature looks, Louis in stripes and suspenders, Harry in a sports jacket, Niall in a red polo and khakis, Liam in plaid, and Zayn in a versity jacket. It didn't take long for simple things like them smiling, or even walking, to send fans into a frenzy.
After the first tour, the 'Up All Night' live tour DVD came out. They did twitcams more frequently, and more interviews were booked. In fact, a lot more was found out about the boys too. We know what hospital each boy was born in, and where Niall lives! We found out their make-up artists name, and there is even a fandom for her toddler daughter, Lux!
As time went on, they started recording their next album, 'Take Me Home'. 'Take Me Home' was even more of a hit than 'Up All Night'. More music videos and interviews resulted in more screaming fans. The boys even took a trip to Ghana, Africa for Comic Relief. They did a cover of the hit song, 'One Way Or Another', which was a hit on iTunes. They raised tons of money for the cause, by making their own music video with only a camcorder. No money went into the video, only themselves messing around.
They eventually got so famous, some are actually stalking them. We are always up to date on their relationship statuses, {for more about their relationships, go here ---> http://5guys1direction.weebly.com/the-bromances--romances.html} and are always willing to find out more. To some, One Direction is just some dumb, and most times called 'gay', band. But to others, it is their life, and an inspiring band.
